The wing sort of becomes a cloud, I wanted her to adress with the environment as much as I could.

The effect of transparency is excellent, and it gives a very... surreal feel to the pic :)

What can I say, apart from it looks better in real life. I find the ambiguous nature of the angel really interesting. Angels are supposed tp be heavenly beings, and yet this image has an almost sinister nature. The transparency adds to this feeling. All of this is balanced off by the fact that the clothes are more solid, as is the hair, so she doesn't appear too ghostly.

I must add that this was, I believe, taken with a phone's digital camera. To see it in the flesh is mind blowing.
